This position receives and welcomes stakeholders and customers in the construction- and property development industry, and executes roles in reception and switchboard.

You will be responsible for the following disciplines / business processes: 

Reception

Perform reception tasks in an effective, professional and polite manner. Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner. Provide information and services to visitors (e.g. guest Wi-Fi details and taking delivery of documents and parcels). Manage the reception area and boardrooms, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times.

Switchboard 

Answer, screen and forward incoming calls professionally. Take and deliver messages accurately and timeously to the intended recipient, maintaining a response rate by agreed standards. Handle telephonic enquiries, resolve issues and/or direct them to the relevant department.

Administrative Support

Maintain and update the list of staff extensions on the internal telephone directory.Establish and maintain efficient communication and working relationships with customers/members and staff. Handle stationary requests submitted through an electronic stationery system. To advise where maintenance is required in the offices/buildings and communicate with the building manager.Assist with general office administrative tasks.

Requirements

Grade 12

Additional qualifications in office administration or a related field is an advantage.

At least three 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Professional appearance and attitude.

Must be punctual.
